Avoid losing lots of time with feeding in a new wire. Due to the large wire diameters used in the submerged arc business feeding in a new wire can be a very time consuming job. All this time your production is down. With this small, hand-held butt welder the wire-ends can be welded together very easily. Once the welding is done the feeder motor will do the rest and welding restarts much quicker as before.
