PFA Unit
To avoid minimal friction, Wire Wizard offers the Pneumatic Feed Assist (PFA). The Pneumatic Feed Assist allows greater distances to be covered and reduces the workload on the wire feeder. Combined with the Wire Guide Modules, the Pneumatic Feed Assist offers the ultimate in flexibility when it comes to wire feeding. With this solution, distances of more then 46 meters from the wire drum up to the robot can be covered frictionlessly.
With using only compressed air, the Pneumatic Feed Assist easily relieves several kilograms of pulling force from the feed motor.
The Pneumatic Feed Assist is compatible with ferrous and non-ferrous wire.
The PFA kits are available including installation kit. The installation kit includes a drum adapter (with ceramic insert in a Delrin socket), 1mtr air hose, FRL unit and a quick connector outlet to connect your conduit.
